I'm going to state already that this post is probably going to be way too much information for most people, and I would really suggest if you don't want to hear about the weird slightly icky things that come with raising a boy, quit reading right now. RIGHT NOW.
Now I am aware that people say boys are men right from the beginning. And I have found that to be pretty accurate. Wyatt used to fart so loud you could hear it across the room. He still thinks that all boobs belong to him. But I am discovering this goes for other boy parts too.
Today was the...3rd (?) day this week that when I went to change my sweet little boy first thing in the morning I was greeted by a little baby erection. The first time it happened a few months ago I was so thankful my best friend had mentioned it when her son was a baby so I wasn't totally freaked out by it. Cause before she told me it happened, I had no idea it happened when they were that little.
It's strange for me to have to be dealing with boy parts in the first place! Clearly I didn't on a day to day basis before Wy was born. Now I have to wonder about how he's going to learn to pee standing up when he gets older and what the heck I'm going to do about the sex talk. I don't remember a lot about the sex talk I got when I was younger but I know for a fact that it didn't include anything about extra parts hanging off my body and why they do what they do.
I need to find my kid a dad before he realizes he can play with those parts. Cause I'm kind of at a loss here. :)
