I swear Wyatt is going to start walking any second now...he pulls himself up on absolutely everything now. He's no longer happy just being able to crawl either. He does it cause it's the quickest way to get from point A to point B, but when he's not in a rush he does this weird crawl on one leg, push with his other foot thing. It's very strange. But I know it is the next step towards walking! So weird as it is it's exciting too.
He has started yelling to get my attention too. Like this morning, he was playing in the living room while I was getting ready for work and I heard him making his normal noises and walked out of the bathroom while brushing my teeth just to see what he was up to. He was standing holing on to the couch so he was facing the bathroom and could see me when I was standing in the doorway. When I turned back to the sink to spit all the sudden Wy started yelling again till I poked my head out the door to see what the problem was. Then all he did was smile like he was saying "Hi Mom!"
It's great seeing how different he is every day. I can't wait to start hearing words and seeing him take steps on his own.
