The poor kid seems to be having some tummy issues and I just can't figure out what's wrong. He's still eating, but seems more gassy and has been spitting up. Considering that he almost never spits up doing it at all kind of concerns me. But he's not acting sick, he doesn't have a fever, he doesn't seem lethargic or dehydrated! I'm gonna switch him to just formula for a day or two and see if it was just a reaction
to something I ate this past week. Though I didn't really eat anything out of the norm that I can remember. It would be so much easier if he could just tell me what was wrong. :(Speaking of communicating though, I talked with his grandmother last night and it actually went quite well. She is a lovely person who really wants to be involved in Wyatt's life as much as I am willing to let her be and as she is able to be considering they live in Florida. It makes me happy that Wyatt won't have to miss out on knowing his dad's side of his family completely. You can never have too much family! I really hope I am able to get down south in June like I want to so they can have the chance to meet Wy and spend some time with him. It's too bad that he will already be 7 months old before they ever get the chance though. If they wait for me to go there that is. I told her my door will always be open and they will always be welcome to come visit him any time they like. And I hope they take me up on that offer.

Inevitably there is a secret language that develops between mothers and their children. They make a noise, you respond. You respond, he's thinks...whoa...that worked! But it's the times like these that we wished the vocabulary was a little more comprehensive. Good luck with creating your own dialect between you and Wy!
And the Grandma in Florida...wonderful! With a face like Wyatt's, knowing that it's her sons child, she'll find a way. Keep sending her photos...it's so easy to fall in love with him!
Very precious.
